Move for Hunger
Angels on the Move has joined the fight against hunger here in Ohio. 1 in 6 people in northeast Ohio do not have enough money for basics like food. Those most affected are the children. Thousands in our own communities need our help.
In partnership with the non-profit organization Move for Hunger, our team will collect and make arrangements to deliver non-perishable food items to local food banks. Since many of our customers are moving to smaller residences, this is a perfect time to take less of those pantry items and help families in need at the same time. Just set aside those unwanted, non-perishable food items and we will box and label them. Help us in the fight against hunger and make the lives better of those in need here in Ohio.
Announcing our new name – Angels on the Move!
We have changed our name from Home Organizing Angels to Angels on the Move. Same great service, same helpful staff and same ownership. The new name better reflects our primary business – helping families of all generations throughout the moving process.
Lap blankets for seniors
As an outreach program through the UH Senior Network, we have been crochetting or knitting lap blankets for seniors in nursing homes. It is a little added warmth to keep the chill of the winter or the air conditioning away.
